Is using Internet at a coffee shop bad?
Yes and no. Certainly, logging into any "Unsecured" network (one that does not require a password in order for you to connect) with your device in order to have Internet access *DEFINITELY* opens up the device to being hacked and watched, or any other number of nefarious processes by unknown sources. Hacking into devices over public Wi-Fi gets easier and easier for bad actors to do all the time. Then again, advanced hackers may be able to trace you or hack you even though you are using a "Secured" network (one that has you input a password before your device can use it to access the Internet). Arm yourself and your Internet connection no matter where you find yourself.
What is the "Cloud" ?
This term has *clouded* our judgment for too long. People started using the phrase "the Cloud" to loosely refer to some sort of "better way" to store your stuff on the Internet. The truth is, "the Cloud" basically still is, simply, "The Internet". The term "the Cloud" sort of began referring to the trend by which users utilize certain programs/apps to more easily store-and-retrieve files; and the computing power behind certain repositories of files increased a bit more, such that people began to be able to run certain computer programs/apps stored in a remote location rather than their local hard-drive. But do not let anyone try to talk above your head or talk you into anything with jargon terms like the phrase "the Cloud" to fool you. Rise above "the Cloud" to see clearly.
